MEEKER, DUANE B., 63, Friday, December 5, 2003; beloved husband of Kay A. Meeker (nee Purdy); dear father and father-in-law of Karen (Douglas) Peterson of San Diego, CA, Barbara (Thomas) Risk of Blue Ash, OH, Jim (Kimberly) Meeker of Westfield, IN, and Janet Meeker of Indianapolis, IN; dear brother of Norma Penn of Clymers, IN; dear grandfather of 7, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.
Mr. Meeker was an engineer with Robson Lapina and a member of the Rotary Club of Mid-St. Louis County. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart or Diabetes Associations, or The Rotary Foundation.
Memorial service plans are pending. The family is being served by the BAUMANN COLONIAL Chapel of Overland.

OVERLAND, MO. -- Private memorial services were held for Duane B. Meeker, 63, of Greenfield, formerly of Logansport.

He died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, while working as a forensic engineer in St. Louis.

Surviving are his wife, Kay Meeker, Greenfield; three daughters, Karen Peterson, San Diego, Barbara Risk, Blue Ash, Ohio and Janet Meeker, Indianapolis; one son, Jim Meeker, Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Norma Penn, Clymers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart, Diabetes and Stroke Associations and the Rotary Foundation.
