

Larry Duane Stephens,
70 of Logansport, passed away at 6:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2011
in St. Elizabeth Central Hospital, Lafayette.
Born July 24, 1940 in Logansport,
Indiana, he was the son of the late John William Stephens and
Hazel Marie (Schubach) Stephens.
A 1958 graduate of Logansport High
School, Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. For 48 years,
he worked for Logan Machine Company. He also served as their
Union president for a number of years.
Surviving are Daughter, Linda Moon
and her husband Larry, of Logansport; Son, Craig Stephens and
his wife Kim, of Palm Beach, FL; Step-daughter, Linda Ramirez
of Lafayette; Sister, Sharon Daugherty of Logansport; five Grandchildren,
Jessica Kline of Logansport, Zachari Hipsher of Carmel, Deley
Dupree of Lafayette, Mariah Stephens and, Katelyn Stephens, both
of Florida; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one
brother, Jerry Stephens.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday,
prior to the services at the Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport,
Indiana.
Services will be held at Fisher
Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. with Craig
Stephens and Larry Moon officiating.
