Robert
Michael Bott, 57, of 607 N. Lincoln St., Warsaw, Indiana, died
at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 22, 2003, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.
He was born April 26, 1946, in
Muncie, to Robert Eugene and Sarah Wilson Bott. On June
12, 1971, in Warsaw, he married Tamela Staley, who survives.
A Warsaw resident since 1968, he
taught science at Warsaw Community High School for 35 years and
was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a
1968 Ball State University graduate and received his master's
degree from St. Francis College, Fort Wayne, in 1974. He
also coached for many years at all levels and served as WCHS
science department chairman for 14 years. He was former
president of the Sacred Heart School Board and building project.
He was a member of Beta Theta Phi fraternity and Knights
of Columbus, a Marriage Encounter presenter, former president
of Beaver Dam Conservation Club, WCHS ski club sponsor, selected
to organize Project Lead the Way to develop an engineering program
for Warsaw, an Elks Lodge member, and participated on numerous
local sports teams.
Other survivors include two sons, Aaron Michael Bott, Warsaw,
and Adam Robert Bott, Muncie; a daughter, Alyssa Marie Bott,
Muncie; and a sister, Phyllis Moravec, Fort Wayne.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Monsignor
James Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. today
at McHatton-Sadler Funeral, Chapel, Warsaw, with a rosary service
at 7:30 p.m.
