Peggy "Peg" Rosalie Callison      September 22, 2011

     Peg Callison , age 94, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away at 12:50 pm Thursday September 22, 2011, at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.

     On May 23, 1917, Peg was born to Raymond and Irene (LeMieux) Callison in Detroit, Michigan.

     Peg's early working days were spent as a buyer of hosiery and gloves for Robertson Bros. in South Bend. Moving to Warsaw in 1947, she worked as an accountant for 25 years at Dalton Foundry, retiring in 1985.

     She was a member of the Dalton 25 Year Club, a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Rosary-Altar Society of Sacred Heart Church and one of the original members of Kosciusko County Right-to-Life.

     A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she spent many years serving in various ministries of the parish.

     During her years in South Bend, she was a close friend of Notre Dame legend Knute Rockne's family and has remained a faithful fan of Notre Dame football.

     Among Peg's many traits was her quick wit and sense of humor which was enjoyed by all her friends. Her favorite pastime through the years was watch watching sports.  She attributed her longevity to good parents and devoted friends.

     She is survived by cousins Miss Jane Crotty and Mrs. Helen Jones, Kalamazoo, Michigan and a number of other cousins.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Monday, September 26, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw with Father Phil DeVolder officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service with recitation of the Rosary at 9:45 am, Monday, September 26, 2011 at the CHURCH.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

     Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart School Scholarship Fund, 125 North Harrison Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580 or to Kosciusko County Right-To-Life.    (9-23-2011)
