Mary Lou Horney

- Mary Lou Horney, 75, of 6 T26G Lane, Leesburg, Indiana, died
at 11:18 a.m. Aug. 8, 2004, in her residence.
She was born Dec. 19; 1928, in
JoIiet, Ill., to John and Cecilia, Schwartz McEvilly. On
Sept.1, 1951, she married James Robertson, who died in 1983.
On, March 29, 1985; she married Lawrence "Jack"
Horney Jr., who survives.
Moving to the Leesburg area from
Aurora, Ill., in 1966, she was a registered nurse and was the
Wawasee School nurse for 17 years. She was a member of
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, and was a graduate of St.
Frances Academy, Joliet, and St. Charles School of Nursing, Aurora.
Also surviving are two daughters,
Janet Shriver, Bedford, Texas, and Mrs. Jerry (Joyce) Parcell,
North, Webster; three stepdaughters: Mrs. William (Beth) Geist,
Hilton Head, S.C.; Mrs. George (Phyllis) Kolopanis, Mahomet,
Ill.; and Mrs. Mark (Kathy) Workman, Warsaw; a stepson, David
Horney, Indianapolis; four grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by a daughter and a brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. Burial will be
in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minooka, Ill.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday
at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse; with
a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
