Hans
Herman Jensen, 86, of 2100 Ocean Drive S., Jacksonville Beach,
Fla., and formerly of Warsaw, Indiana, died at 10:55 a.m. Feb.
28, 2003, in St. Luke's Hospital, Jacksonville.
He was born Sept. 1, 1916, in Harvey,
Ill., to Christian Kaas and Johanna Carlina Carlson Jensen. On
Feb. 4, 1943, in Warsaw, he married Martha Cummins, who died
Aug. 24, 1982. On Dec. 28, 1983, in Tampa, Fla., he married
Eleanor "Cille" Fisher, who died Dec. 6, 1993.
Before moving to Florida from Warsaw
in 1986, he was a tool and die maker at Jr. Toy Co., Hammond,
and supervised the tool and die operations at Playtime Products,
Warsaw. He was cofounder and former president of Sun Metal
Products, Warsaw, from 1946-83. He was a 15-year member
of Junior Achievement, of which he was also a past president,
and a former member of Warsaw Chamber of Commerce. He was
a member of Tippecanoe Lake Country Club, where he formerly served
on the board of directors and as finance chairman. He was
a lifetime member of Knights Of Columbus 4th Degree and a member
of Elks Lodge 802 and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, both in Warsaw.
Surviving are five daughters: Susan
Jensen, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; Mrs. Macon (Anne) Jones, Knoxville,
Tenn.; Carla Magidson, Jacksonville Beach; Mrs. Derry (Chris)
Dillon, Warsaw; and Mrs. Steven (Sara) Good, Tampa, Fla.; two
sons, Alan Jensen, Jacksonville Beach, and Ronald Jensen, Naperville,
Ill.; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Monsignor
James Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery,
Warsaw. .
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday
at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, where there will be
a rosary service at 7 p.m.
