Ellen
T. "Nana" Keegan, 91, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away
June 6, 2011 at 12:50 am in her residence.
She was born on August 4, 1919
in Boston, MA, to Patrick and Theresa (Moore) Dunican. She
married Ernest J. Keegan on September 4, 1939 in Boston, MA.
She was a member of Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, DAV and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary
all of Warsaw. Ellen was also a proud member of the Boston
Irish Catholic Democrat Club.
She was a volunteer for Kosciusko
Community Hospital for many years.
She enjoyed Water Aerobics at the
YMCA.
She is survived by 2 sons, Joseph
Keegan of St. Augustine, FL, and John Keegan of Sarasota, FL; 2
daughters, Irene L. Zimmerman of Warsaw and Gail (and spouse
Les) Guimond of Clearwater, FL; 10 grandchildren,
16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Her husband and 3 sisters preceded
in death.
There will be a Mass of Christian
Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw on Thursday June
9, 2011 at 11:00 am.
Father Phil DeVolder will officiate
the services. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
