Azucena F. Lopez      August 1, 2003

     Azucena F. Lopez, 83, of 1I0 N. McKinley St., Warsaw, Indiana, died at 12:31 p.m. Aug. 1, 2003, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
     She was born March 21, 1920, in Lajas, Cuba, to Jose and Maria Ros Garcia. On March 21, 1946, in Cienfuegos, Cuba, she married Felipe A. Lopez, who died Jan. 27, 2003.
     Living in Warsaw since 1965, she was a homemaker and retired from Zimmer Inc., Warsaw.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a former concert pianist in Cuba.
     Surviving are two sons, Felipe J. (and Annerose) Lopez, Wiesenbach, Germany, and Juan J. Lopez, Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Randy (Maria) Oler, Warsaw; eight grandchildren: Kristina Hohensinner, Berlin, Germany; Manuel Lopez, Munich, Germany; Sebastian Lopez, Wiesenbach; Mrs. Jeremy (Janae) Newton, Dallas, Texas; Anthony (and Angela) Oler, Warsaw; Juan Carlos Lopez, Miami, Fla.; and Ricardo J. (and Christine) Lopez and David F. Lopez, both from St. Petersburg, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren, Emily Oler, Warsaw, and Sarah Marie and Anna Marie Newton, both of Dallas, Texas.  She was preceded in death by a brother.
     Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Father Paul Bueter and Pastor Bill Shipman officiating.  Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
     Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
