Felipe A. Lopez

Felipe A. Lopez, 81, of 110 N.
McKinley St., Warsaw, Indiana, died at 1:08 p.m. Jan. 27, 2003,
in Mason's Heath Care Facility, Warsaw.
He was born May 25, 1921, in Cienfuegos,
Cuba, to Juan Bautista Lopez and Maria Luisa Palacios. On
March 21, 1946, in Cienfuegos, he married Azucena F. Garcia,
who survives.
Living in Warsaw since 1965, he
was self-employed in the hardware business and worked as a machine
operator at Da-Lite Screen Co., retiring in 1990. He was
a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.
Also surviving are two sons, Felipe
J. Lopez, Wiesenbach, Germany, and Juan J. Lopez, Tampa, Fla.;
a daughter, Maria Oler, Warsaw; a brother, Rafael Lopez, Peru;
a sister, Maria Caridad Lopez, Cienfuegos; and eight grandchildren:
Kristina Hohensinner, Berlin, Germany; Manuel Lopez, Munich,
Germany; Sebastian Lopez, Wiesenbach, Germany; Mrs. Jeremy (Janae)
Newton, Dallas, Texas; Anthony (Angela) Oler, Warsaw; Juan Carlos
Lopez, Miami, Fla.; and Ricardo J. and David F. Lopez, both of
St. Petersburg, Fla.; and two great-grandchildren, Emily Oler,
Warsaw, and Sarah Marie Newton, Dallas, Texas. He was preceded
in death by two sisters, Lourdez Lopez and Maria del Carmen Pernas
and a brother, Juan Pablo Lopez.
Services will be private with Monsignor
James Wolf and Pastor Bill Shipman officiating. Burial
will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday
at the McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to
