Rita M. Miller, 84, of 41 N. Orchard
Dr. Warsaw, Indiana, died at 3:35 a.m. April 4, 2002, in Lutheran
Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 20, 1917, in
Chicago, Ill. to Nicholas and Rose Cichowicz Urynowicz. On
Dec. 15, 1947, in Warsaw, she married Joseph Miller, who survives.
A longtime Kosciusko County resident;
she retired as deputy treasurer of Kosciusko County and was a
supervisor technical second class in the U.S. Navy, serving from
1944-45. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church
Warsaw; Rosary Altar Society; 18 Hole (Ladies) at Rozella Ford;
and American Legion and was past president of American Legion
Auxiliary.
Also surviving are a daughter,
Jo Ann Klodzinski, Mishawaka; a son, Joseph E. Miller, Leesburg;
a sister, Vernice McAninch, Warsaw, a brother, Edward Urynowicz,
Largo, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Monsignor James
Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to
8 p.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, where
there will be a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
