Ernesto Vuittonet Sr.
BOURBON - Ernesto Vuittonet Sr.,
73, of 2032 18 B. Road, Tippecanoe, died at 1:40 a.m., Aug. 4,
2003, in Mason Health Care Center, Warsaw, Indiana.
He was born May 30, 1930, in Harlingen,
Texas, to Alfonso and Louisa Espinosa Vuittonet. On May
31, 1953, he married Maria Carmen Espinoza, who survives.
Living in Tippecanoe since 1968,
he retired from Dalton Foundries, Warsaw, after 27-1/2 years
as a machine operator. He was a
member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Milford, the
Crusillo movement of the church and Bourbon American Legion Post
424. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean
Also surviving are 10 children:
Juanita Green, Rochester; Ernesto Vuittonet Jr., Plymouth; Mrs.
Hal (Zulema) Shafer, Mrs. Henry (Margarita) Espinosa, and Joe
Vuittonet, all of Tippecanoe; Martin Sr., Alma Rosa and Victor
Vuittonet, all of Bourbon; Homero Vuittonet, Peru; and Vicente
Vuittonet, Corpus Christi, Texas; 29 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
a sister, Consuelo Ortiz, Tucson, Ariz.; and a brother, Emilio
Vuittonet Sr., Kress, Texas. He was preceded in death by
a daughter, two grandchildren, and three brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday
at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Milford, with Father
Paul Bueter officiating.
Burial will be in Tippecanoe Cemetery
with a military graveside service by members of Bourbon American
Calling is from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday
at Deaton Funeral Home, Bourbon, with a rosary service at 7 p.m.,
and one hour before the service Friday. (11-5-2010)
