Genevieve
Jenny Louise Wendt of 2015 Connors Court, Warsaw,
Indiana passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 6:07 p.m. at
her residence in Warsaw at the age of 82.
She was born on December 27, 1928
in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Edward Joseph Zurbuch and Agnes Mae
(Luley) Zurbuch. On August 20, 1949 she was married to
Leonard Len Charles Wendt, who passed away on April
17, 2011.
She graduated from Central Catholic
High School in 1946. Jenny has been a resident of Warsaw,
Indiana since 1962 where she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic
Church of Warsaw, and was active with the Rosary and Alter Society.
She was a homemaker, and was also employed at the Bowen
Center, Home Health Care and Dalton Foundry all of Warsaw.
She will be lovingly remembered
by her four sons: Clifford L. (wife Nancy) Wendt (Encinitas,
California); Paul S. (wife Clair) Wendt (Phoenix, Arizona); Thomas
R. (wife Gabriela) Wendt (Cypress, California); Daniel M. (wife
Jill) Wendt (Maricopa, Arizona); eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren,
and two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers:
Richard (wife Terri) Zurbuch (Fort Wayne, Indiana); James B.
(wife Sandy) Zurbuch (Fort Wayne, Indiana); Donald (wife Sally)
Zurbuch (New Haven, Indiana); Edward (wife Marge) Zurbuch (Lewiston,
New York); and one Sister: Diane Zurbuch (Richmond, Indiana).
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one grandson
Derek K. Wendt.
Visitation will be held on Friday,
August 19, 2011 from 4:00 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service
at 7:30 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne
Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated
on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. and presided by Father
Phil DeVolder at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 North Harrison
Street, Warsaw, Indiana.
A graveside service will be held
at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Catholic Cemetery
of Fort Wayne.

Road, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545; or to a catholic charity of your
