James Busch October 2, 1939 - October 19, 1996 For James (Jim) Busch, his days at LHS were some of the best days of his life. He was a loyal Berries fan - whatever the sport, but we remember him particularly attending football and basketball games. He studied shop at LHS and was known to be an excellent worker in the skilled trades. Jim suffered a disabling illness in 1964. He lived the rest of his life with his parents in Fort Branch, Indiana, where his activities were limited to watching television and taking walks. He passed away October 19, 1996. We remember his warm smile and caring attitude. The following from the Pharos Tribune archives, October 20, 1996.      EVANSVILLE — James L. Busch, 57, Evansville, formerly of Logansport, Indiana, died at 8:48 a.m. Saturday in Welborn Baptist Hospital.  (He was born October 2, 1939.)      Services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Boone Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Ave., with the Rev. Richard Helzerman officiating.      Burial arrangements are pending at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery, Cass County.      Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.  (11-23-2011) Information gathered by Leon Whiteman
