William Joseph Firmani

     A Scripture service for William Joseph Firmani, 60, of 508 Shultz St., will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Marocco Funeral Home.
     Mr. Firmani died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, at his residence.
     Born March 12, 1941, in Logansport, he was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Cox Firmani. He was married to Maureen "Sam" O'Essweinn Hernandez, who survives.
     He had been an automobile salesman at the Logansport Ford and Mike Anderson dealerships.
     He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and enjoyed golf, football and his dog Nick.
     He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
     Also surviving are two daughters, Colleen Holmes, Attaboro, Mass., and Bridget Firmani, Muncie; two sons, Tony Firmani and his wife Dawn, Fishers, and
Christopher Holmes and his wife Marybeth, Lakewood Park, Fla.; four granddaughters, Sarah, Anna and Sophie Firmani and Alexis McAlister; one brother, Robert Firmani and his wife Marge, Fayetteville, N.C.; and one nephew, Mark Firmani and his wife Janet.
     His parents, one daughter, Gina Marie Firmani, and one brother, Joseph Firmani, preceded in death.
     Father John Zahn will officiate at the Scripture service. 
     Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
