Michael Arnold Hughes November 4, 1941 - July 21, 2014       Word has been received from Michael's sister Pat Hughes Stinemetz that Michael passed away the afternoon of July 21, 2014, in Oregon.       Only sketchy information exists at this time and will be updated upon receipt of an obituary.       Michael was an ER Physician and had practiced at a variety of places. (7-26-2014) Information from Bob Hardin. ( 8-21-2014) No additional information has been provided by Mike's family as of 8-21-2014. The following has been gleaned from a variety of sources and presumed to be factual. Michael Arnold Hughes, MD, 73, was born on November 4, 1941, in Logansport, Indiana, to Paul D. and Dorothy A (Arnold) Hughes. At the time of his death, he was living in Bend, Oregon, where he and his wife Esther had resided for a few years. His death came about fifteen months after surgery for a brain tumor. He lived in many locations, including Indiana, Illinois, Oregon, and Mexico. He was an Emergency Room Physician, having graduated from Indiana University Medical School in Indianapolis, Indiana.. Surviving are his wife, Esther W. Hughes, a son Jeffry Hughes, and possibly other children, (names unknown at this time); sisters, Janet Hughes, Indianapolis, and Patricia (Paul) Stinemetz, Kokomo.
