Janice M. Lilly March 28, 2012
M. Lilly, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 9:49 AM
in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana.
Janice was born May 5, 1936, in
Newton, Massachusetts, to Joseph R. and Delia J. (LaPorte) Custeau.
Janice enlisted with the US Marine
Corps on September 22, 1964. After serving in Vietnam Cpl
Janice M. Lilly was honorably discharged October 11, 1966, in
San Diego, California.
On June 20, 1970, Janice was joined
in marriage with Norman Lilly in Boston, Massachusetts.
Janice worked customer service
for New England Pacific and Illinois Phone Company for 20 years
before retiring in 1975. She was also employed by Biomet.
A devout and faithful Catholic,
Janice was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Rosary
Altar Society; she enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, working
puzzles, playing Bingo, boating and swimming, and lobster boils;
cherished time with her only grandchild, Kellen, and sang songs
to him as she made them up; wonderful mom going to all of Ellens
band, swimming, T-ball and softball activities; she was loving,
kind, considerate, and had a good sense of humor; she enjoyed
going to Bob Evans and Richards with her friends Mary and

to cherish are her daughter and son-in-law: Ellen R. and Kevin
Tennant of Noblesville, Indiana; a grandson: Kellen P. Tennant,
also of Noblesville; a brother and sister-in-law: Stanley and
Carol DeCoste of Orange, Massachusetts; a sister-in-law: Colletta
Hoffman of Chicago, Illinois; 3 brothers-in-law: Gary Lilly of
Berwin, Illinois, Gilbert Lilly of Anderson, South Carolina,
and Thomas Lilly of Orland Park, Illinois; and several nieces
Janice was preceded in death by
husband, Norman, February 16, 2007, and by her parents.
Friends and family will gather
to share memories and lend support on Friday March 30, 2012,
from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM in Titus Funeral Home. A reciting
of the rosary will begin at 7:30PM. The life of Janice
M. Lilly will for celebrated Saturday March 31, 2012, at 12 PM
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Philip DeVolder of
the church officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery,
Warsaw. Military honors will be conducted by Warsaws
American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126.
