Loser, Elaine-obit-Orig.jpg     Elaine Korth Loser of Leesburg, Indiana, passed away at 9:27 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw, Indiana, at the age of 88.
     She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana, where she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw.  Elaine was a graduate of Warsaw High School and attended St. Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana, earning her Bachelor's degree in liberal arts.  She was a member of Tri-Kappa of St. Mary’s College, member of Tippecanoe Lake Country Club in Leesburg, had been an avid bridge player at Tippy and Stonehenge Country Club in Winona Lake, Indiana.  Elaine enjoyed golfing, loved her home, and especially making wonderful memories for her family.
     She was born on August 5, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, to Emma (Carmichael) and Raymond Joseph Korth.  On May 22, 1970, she was married to James Edward Loser, who survives in Leesburg.
     She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, as well as her two daughters:  Allison (husband Kevin) Robie (Leesburg, Indiana); Renie Loser (Warsaw, Indiana); five grandchildren:  Mona, Jason, Ryan, Adrian, and Stephanie; eight great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law:  Kathryn Day (Fort Wayne, Indiana); brother: Robert (wife Barbara Ann) Korth (Arizona); and her pets Benji and Mr. Lucky.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son George Day who passed away in August 2016.
     Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana, with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m.
     Her Funeral Mass will be conducted on Friday, September 16, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 135 N. Harrison Street, Warsaw, Indiana, and celebrated by Father Phil DeVolder.  Friends and family may also visit an hour prior to her funeral mass 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw. 
     Memorial donations may be directed to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 3489 E. 100 S., Pierceton, IN  46562 and would be appreciated by the family.  (9-13-2016)
