Janet S. Stamper, 64, passed
away Thursday, December 31, 2009, at 9:35 AM in Lutheran Hospital,
Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Janet was born June 23, 1945 in Huntington, Indiana to Kenneth
Lee and Mildred (Teusch) Johnson. She was married to Ted Stamper
December 2, 1961 in Huntington.
A homemaker, Janet lived in Warsaw for 25 years coming from Huntington.
She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.
Survivors include a son, Brian Stamper of Erie, Pennsylvania,
4 daughters: Stephanie Lamb, Warsaw; Jennifer (and Mikel) Perkins
of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Leslie Stamper and Melissa Baker, both
of Warsaw; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Dora Johnson,
Huntington; 2 sisters: Marilyn Isaac of Huntington and Carol
(and Doug) Cravens of Maumee, Ohio; 11 grandchildren: Anita,
David (and Sarah), Caroline, Ashley, Tyler, Tabitha, Zachary,
Haley, Samantha, Cheyanne and Austin; 2 great grandchildren:
Dawshalyn and Liddie.
Janet's husband, Ted, preceded her death on September 21, 2008
as did her parents, Kenneth and Mildred Johnson, brother, Brian
"John" Johnson and sister, Mary Lou Johnson.
A time of sharing with the family will be from 9-11 AM, Thursday,
January 7, 2010. A celebration of Janet's life will begin at
11 AM the same day at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Msgr. James
Wolf of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will
follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Contributions to masses may be given in Janet's memory. (9-8-10)
