Bill
J. Walker, 79, of 1809 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, died at 5 a.m.
Jan. 12, 2007, at Mason's Health Care, Warsaw, Indiana.
He was born April 3, 1927, in Patton,
Illinois., to Shelby L. and Buehla Potts Walker. On Nov. 17,
1951, he married his beloved wife, Rita Lois Papiana, who survives
in Warsaw.
He was a supervisor at RR Donnelley
& Sons, retiring after 25 years of service. He resided
in Kosciusko County for the last 55 years, and was a veteran
of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and American Legion Post
49, all of Warsaw.
He attended Manchester College,
North Manchester.
Other survivors include two daughters,
Lynne Walker, South Bend, and Rosemary Marburger, Indianapolis;
a son, James Walker, Delphi; six grandchildren; and two brothers,
John Walker, Columbia City, and Jerry Walker, Pitson, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Louise Walker in
1955, and a son, William Joseph Walker in 1981.
Services will be' at 10 a.m. Tuesday
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.
A military graveside service will
be conducted by American Legion Post 49. Burial will be
in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
Calling is from 2 to4 p.m. and
6 and 8 p.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A rosary
service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
